Gorge Walking
Gorge walking (also known as scrambling) is a mix of traversing along rock walls and ridges, climbing over boulders, jumping into rivers, scrambling under waterfalls and exploring caves. This is done under the supervision of an experienced guide whilst wearing a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet.
Offering lots of fun and the chance to explore in nature, involves a combination of hiking and rock climbing. It is often distinguished from hillwalking by defining a scramble as a route where hands must be used in the ascent.
